I guess that's it?
It's been raining for three days and just won't quit.
I've been staring out the windows for a glimpse,
Of an opportunity that can't be missed.
Sitting here with nothing but my thoughts for company,
And a thousand channels of mind numbing TV.
I can't even find one thing I want to see.

But I'll just wait it out.
Six months doesn't seem so long.
In the cold, I'll stay home.

Looking out at the red and green and the colours in-between,
There will soon be nothing left for you and me,
But the naked branches swaying in the trees.
It's not so bad when I think of all the times that we have shared,
It'll get me through the months that lie ahead,
And when summer comes around I'll see you there.
